Properties of Nonmetals
Introduce:
At room temperature, most nonmetal is gases. Only few of them are solid at room temperature, those have a dull surface and no luster. Bromine is the only nonmetal are liquid in room temperature. The reason why they are good for insulators is that the nonmetals are hardly conduct to the electricity and thermal energy. The properties are like opposite with the metals.
